Job Title:
Canadian Sales and Business Development Executive
Scope of Position:
To meet the growth objectives, Dimidium seeks a self-starter, confident and results-oriented individual for a Sales and Business Development role. Reporting to the CEO, the Sales and Business Development Executive will be responsible for selling Dimidium solutions and capabilities to new customers in Canada. The specific mandate includes:
- Selling within the territory to achieve and exceed defined revenue targets.
- Creating a high-yielding pipeline that is 2-3 times the annual revenue target on a weighted basis.
- Identifying appropriate clients through territory strategic planning and then executing with a high degree of discipline on the plan to meet revenue targets.
- Working with the team to define customer-centric need driven IT solutions, create winning proposals that clearly differentiate from the competitors, demonstrating resilience to overcome client objections and build value every step of the way and professional negotiations to insure the final agreement is realistically achievable and profitable.
- Negotiating with clients to finalize deals and achieve sales targets in a profitable manner.
Functional Tasks: The role demands the following essential tasks:- Identifying potential customers in his/her geographic region.
- Establishing contact with new clients and determining their readiness and suitability to be a client.
- Arranging meetings to determine key issues for the senior IT staff and mapping Dimidium solutions to those issues as appropriate.
- Creating proposals that address the client concerns.
- Closing the deals along with the CEO/Executive member.
- Managing the sales pipeline.
Preferred Experience / Education: The following indicates specific industry, academic and functional experience/qualifications that are important to the successful achievement of the identified responsibilities and performance deliverables.
- Excellent sales ability, driven, persuasiveness and executive level impact that quickly builds trust and credibility that a "small" company can compete and win over larger, better known competitors. Demonstrated references of "David overcoming Goliath" in the marketplace.
- Track record of success in IT sales. Expert in consultative selling and relationship building with “C” level clients of high growth mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies.
- Currently living in the sales territory.
- Ability to travel.
- Above average commissions.
- Flexibility on location.
